About me
I am a registered Social Worker, licensed to practice in both Quebec and Ontario. With 18 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working in various settings, including the public sector, healthcare, education, community services, and humanitarian aid.
Throughout my career, I have supported children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of challenges. Being an active part of their journey is deeply fulfilling for me, both professionally and personally.
My background in social work allows me to adopt a holistic perspective, taking into account the social, cultural, familial, and environmental factors that shape their experiences. This comprehensive approach helps me identify resources, challenges, and opportunities unique to each individual’s context. Meanwhile, psychotherapy equips me to delve into the emotional, cognitive, and relational dimensions underlying their difficulties. By integrating these two areas of expertise, I provide support that is both practical and introspective, tailored to the specific needs of each client.
I work with clients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. My expertise lies in supporting individuals facing migration challenges, anxiety, life transition, trauma—including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)—and the effects of experienced violence. I strongly believe in the transformative power of counseling to help individuals navigate life’s challenges and cultivate emotional well-being.
